The Nigerian Women’s U20 National Team, the Falconets, ended their semi-final game against Colombia with a 1-0 victory, thanks to player Ebere Orji who has also been shortlisted for the Golden Ball Award in the same tournament. They are the first African team to progress past the quarterfinals stage and the most successful U20 African Women’s Football team, to date. They will play Germany, the host nation, in the final match on Sunday, August 1st.
